Day 6

Our last day :(
We went out for breaky and I ran in to a friend from school which was very bizarre but we had time for some breakfast then went for a really quick drive around the lake to say goodbye then went to the airport. It is the tiniest international airport I've ever been in but it is the nicest view.
Queenstown is definately the best looking place we've been to and can't wait to come back and maybe try to go skiing next time. Can't wait!

Day 5

Our last full day which we're a bit sad about but it was snowing outside! It was so amazing then Chris slipped up the driveway 6 times and it was hilarious. Great way to start the day. We once again went out for breakfast then went and did a Jet Boat ride which was scary and had amazing scenery then we just explored around town and went around the other side of the lake and went to Glenorchy which was such an amazing little rural town with so many sheep and deer. Once we finished exploring around, we had a few drinks at the brewery with some friends and I finally had some venison which was delicious then had many more beers and was driven home and had a big long sleep.

Day 4

As much as I am very much not in to going snowboarding, we woke up for another early morning breakfast then we were off to the snow! This time we went to Treble Cone Mountain which was a 2 hour drive away through thick snow but very pretty drive and Chris got to practice putting the chains on and off many times. We also ended up picking up 3 hitchhikers with 3 snowboards in the back of our tiny Yaris. It was very impressive. Once we got to the top, we bought more snowboarding lessons for some reason but we had a really good teacher who was SUPER patient with me and I only fell off my board like 3 times. I didn't have as much rage at the end of the day which was good. Then we had a lovely drive back going through Wanaka back to Queenstown. We then had an early night after killing it on the slopes.
Seeing a sign for coffee then realising it was at a historic hotel

Day 3

Woke up early this morning and had some breaky in town then went to the Gondola which is crazy steep up a mountain in town with an amazing view. It was pretty terrifying getting up there but worth it as it was such an amazing view. And at the top, we got a chairlift up to the very top and rode a luge down which was the most fun ever. Then rode the chairlift back up and rode the luge again.
Once our hands froze off, we decided to get a coffee then ride the gondola back down.
When we got to the bottom we went for a half hour drive to Arrowtown which is a little gold mining town which was very cute and all the buildings look like they were from the 18 hundreds. Then we went to the museum and had some lunch with mulled wine then went for a drive along the lake until we reach the end, stopped to take many many many photos then back home for an early night so we can get up early for the snow tomorrow.
