Day 1

Arrived in Queenstown today and it was such an amazing flight! I could not stop taking pictures of the mountains and the snow and the lake. It was almost worth waking up at 2am for our flight.

First thing we did was catch up with one of Chris' friends who he used to work with a grabbed a coffee then went and picked up our rental car and we were off! We drove all around the lake and kept stopping to take photos as it was so pretty. We then checked in to our hotel which is up the steepest drive way I have ever seen and we were stopped by goats who were just wondering around in our way. Our little Yaris struggled enough getting up the drive way let alone being stopped by goats. Our hotel is nice with a lovely view. Just not sure how we' ll manage the drive way after a few beverages. We had Devils Burgers at 4pm and were asleep by 5:30pm. Need a good sleep after our big day!
